RECESS is our creative playground where we have given ourselves the freedom to play and collaborate with celebrated colleagues who are invited to showcase their work in a whole new way.

Each issue has a theme with creatives able to interpret this in any way and submit work that they are respected for or be bold and try a new style. Quarantine is the theme for this first issue. We are curious and have taken the time to listen and learn. We interpret each other’s exhaustion and anxiety, as well as try to understand where the hope is, to bring you words and images that resonate. We invite you to read and share, discuss and debate. Ask questions. And, please know that we care. 

RECESS is a global collaboration of videographers, artists, writers, photographers, creative directors and graphic designers bringing you current content that matters. All without the constraints of an Editor and each digital edition will recognize every contributor with their own Cover for the work they submit.
